These sculptures are Orbs in Bronze. They reflect my love of nature, texture, color and imperfection. These sculptures are cast in two parts and welded together. The missed segments that form the openings or mouths are intentional. I try to provoke them, but in the end it is still always a surprise what emerges from the mold. The Orbs in Bronze got abbreviated to OiBs because I felt that name gave them the character they display. The Aluminum OiBs have just as much character so the name stayed. These sculptures can be touched, rolled, moved inside and outside and will continue to develop character and surprise you.
