Sensei

A commission that taught me a lot

The brief was to create a large sculptural piece of art that includes organic motifs, copper, brass, and patina with an Asian vibe.

Sensei is a quilt-like assembly of panels of copper and brass in a variety of sizes.

These panels have been embossed, treated with patinas, and some showcasing cutouts that allow a glimpse beyond.
