Copper Fireplace Surround

I was commissioned to create a copper fireplace surround for a new home in Hillsborough.

The clients were seeking art that fits perfectly into their space and reflects their style and personality.
I became part of this exploratory and collaborative process, allowing me to interpret their vision with my artistic voice.

I truly enjoy collaboration, finding that it often pushes me another step further in my development.

The copper fireplace incorporates embossed textural details in addition to a variety of hot and cold patinas that were applied for color and style.
